Abstrak

Abstract: The learning process still uses minimal teaching materials without any development, this results in students being less enthusiastic about learning. It takes interesting and innovative teaching materials to improve the quality of education. The purpose of this study was to describe (1) to determine the feasibility of encyclopedia teaching materials based on religious character education and (2) to determine the practicality of encyclopedia teaching materials based on religious character education. The research method used by the researcher is development research and uses the 4D model with 4 stages, namely: the definition stage the design stage the development stage, the dissemination stage However, researchers will use the 4D model until the development stage. The subjects of the trial were 15 fourth grade students of SDN Kambingan. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and documentation. The questionnaire consisted of a material expert questionnaire, media expert, linguist, practitioner and a student response questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The result of this research is that the teaching materials of the encyclopedia of Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic kingdoms obtained 83.72%. Based on the explanation of the results of the assessment above, the teaching materials of the encyclopedia of the Hindu kingdom, Buddhism, and Islam are categorized as "Proper" and "Good" to be used in the field. The results of the development of encyclopedia teaching materials for Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic kingdoms can be used as a reference for teachers as companion teaching materials during the learning process.
