Analisis Penerapan Model mind mapping dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 02 Petungsewu Wagir Malang

Abstract

This study aims to see; the application of the Mind Mapping Model to the fifth grade students of SDN Petungsewu 02 Wagir in thematic learning, the assumptions of fifth grade students of SDN Petungsewu 02 Wagir regarding the application of the Mind Mapping Model to thematic learning, and critical improvement in thematic learning in fifth grade students of SDN Petungsewu 02 Wagir using the Model Mind Mapping. The research approach used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive approach. Qualitative research is research aimed at describing phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes either individually or in groups. The data sources for this researcher were class V teachers and grade V students at SD Negeri Petungsewu 02 Wagir Malang in the second semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Class V students consist of 28 students consisting of 14 female students and 14 female students. Researchers use class teachers and all students as research subjects. Technique of collecting research data using interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study obtain information about the application of the mind mapping model, namely (1) The teacher explains the achievement of the material indicators studied, (2) The teacher displays the material with a mind mapping model in the form of pictures on the paper or draws on the blackboard, (3) The teacher explains the meaning of words, pictures, connecting lines, (4) students do thematic learning tasks with a mind mapping model, (5) the teacher provides reflections, (6) the teacher gives questions to measure the achievement of indicators. The assumption of fifth grade students of SDN Petungsewu 02 regarding the application of the Mind Mapping Model to thematic learning, students are very enthusiastic about using the mind mapping model, students become more active, and students are more enthusiastic about doing special assignments in thematic learning. In the fifth grade thematic learning of SD Negeri 02 Petungsewu Wagir, the mind mapping model can improve students' critical thinking. A form of mind mapping model that can improve students' critical thinking, namely a simple and attractive mind mapping model, as well as the presentation of interesting words related to learning material, especially thematic learning
