Abstract
Abstract: Unequal facilities and infrastructure in the world of education make the quality of education less than optimal in learning activities. This does not encourage teachers to innovate to improve superior human qualities. The research carried out has the aim of improving Indonesian language learning achievement with the material of writing simple sentences for class 2 students through the method of collaborating with small groups. The research used in this activity is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Data collection is carried out by providing formative tests at the end of each cycle. The results of the research show an increase in results which is quite satisfactory for researchers. The results of the test scores obtained by students continue to increase. The researchers' assumptions were obtained from the results of formative tests in cycle I with an average score reaching 66.69, and formative tests at the end of cycle II with an average score reaching an increase of 82.68. This increase meets the planned targets.
