PENGUATAN KARAKTER SEMANGAT KEBANGSAAN MELALUI LAGU NASIONAL UNTUK SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the strengthening of national spirit through
national songs at SDN Gadang 3, Malang City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive
approach with a qualitative research type, and the data collected is not only in the form of
numbers but also in the form of words or sentences, so it is descriptive in nature. Data
analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing
conclusions. Through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, or a combination
of the three (triangulation). The research subjects were the VB class homeroom teacher
and VB class students. The research instrument used observation sheets and interview
guidelines. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and
documentation. The results of the research were carried out through direct observation
and interviews with the VB class homeroom teacher and ten VB class students. The
application of nationalism values is carried out so that students memorize song lyrics and
interpret national songs well. At SDN Gadang 3 Malang City in class VB, it is in the very good
category based on the results of direct observations and interviews that have been
conducted with students. So that strengthening the character of the national spirit through
national songs has been implemented, with the assistance of the homeroom teacher using
instrumental videos of national song lyrics, using the lecture method, question and answer
in conveying the meaning of the song, and also conveying it through SBdP learning, so that
strengthening the character of the national spirit through the national song is conveyed
well. Good.
