Abstract

The teacher has an important role in education, because the figure of a teacher is a key person, the personality of a good teacher is an external source in growing student motivation. This study was conducted to aims to determine the effect of the teacher's personality on learning motivation of fourth grade students in Blimbing 1 Elementary School Malang, this research is a quantitative approach, with sampling using non-probabilty sampling type of saturated sampling. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires, data analysis of this study using normality test, autocorrelation test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the research carried out, a significance value of 0.05 5 0.05 and t (count) 1,992> t (table) 1,991 was obtained which stated that Ha was accepted (Ho rejected), So, it could be concluded that the teacher's personality had a positive and significant effect towards student learning motivation of 53.7%.
