Abstract

Implementation of learning, the importance of the effect of applying the contextual teaching and learning model assisted by video media on student learning outcomes in thematic learning class IV SDN Bandungrejosari 1 Malang. Based on the results of observations at SDN Bandungrejosari 1 Malang, it is known that when learning takes place students look busy, and students do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation so that what students face is known to be low learning outcomes. Therefore, researchers are interested in applying the contextual teaching and learning model assisted by video media in classroom learning. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the contextual teaching and learning model assisted by video media on student learning outcomes in thematic learning themes 9 subthemes 3 Class IV SDN Bandungrejosari 1 Malang. The approach used is a quantitative approach. This type of research is a quasi experiment (quasi experiment). The research samples for class IVA and class IVB consisted of 55 students. The sample used in this study is saturated sampling, where the entire population is used as a sample. The research instrument used is in the form of a test to measure learning outcomes, namely the pre-test and post-test. Data analysis used validity test, analysis prerequisite test (test for normality, homogeneity test and hypothesis test). Based on hypothesis testing in this study using independent samples t test. The results of this test show a significant level of 0.05 r_count > r_table 0.031, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between classes using the contextual teaching and learning model assisted by video media on student learning outcomes.
