Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for electronic-based e-module teaching materials combined with a CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) approach to understand and attract students' interest in learning. This study aims to create e-module teaching materials based on CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) that are suitable for use in learning. This research uses development research (R&D). This study uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study uses a questionnaire instrument and student test results to measure feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness. E-modules can be said to be feasible if the percentage of the questionnaire is above 76%. It is said to be practical if the percentage is more than 80%. And it is said to be effective if the average value covers the overall learning outcomes of at least 70. The subjects of the research are Material Content validators, Design validators, language validators, teachers and 4th grade students of SDK Marga Bhakti Malang City. The resulting CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning)-based e-modules achieved the provisions of a) Eligible by meeting the criteria for the average score of the three validators of 85% b) The average practicality of the e-module is found in the questionnaire of prospective users (teachers) and responses students by 88% c) The average effectiveness of e-modules is found in student test results of 90%. Through the results obtained, e-modules based on CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) can be used in the learning process to encourage learning motivation so that learning activities remain effective.
