Abstract

This research supported by results of observations and interviews with fifth-grade teachers of the elementary school about the difficulty of students in understanding and memorizing Javanese script. Some problems found include the limitations of learning media. This research is known as Research & Development with the Borg & Gall model. The purpose of this research is to: 1) find out the process of developing PAKURAJA media 2) describe the feasibility of PAKURAJA media 3) describe PAKURAJA media practicality. The media tested on fifth-grade elementary school students of SDN Sukun 1 Malang with preliminary field testing and main field testing. The results of validation by media experts get a score of 93.33%, material expert scored 90%, 95% of teacher practitioner assessments, 99.75% of student evaluations in the preliminary field testing, and 97.94% of the main field testing. Based on the exposure to the results of the assessment, the PAKURAJA media categorized as good quality media and suitable for use in learning.
