Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the development,validity, practicality of the cruising wheel media material for ethnic and cultural diversity.The method used in this research is research an development(R&D) method using Borg and Gall research stages which have been simplified into  stages.The instruments are observation, questionnaire, and documentation. This study tested the learning media on a small scale in stage I with 10 fifth grade student and in stage II on a large scale involving all fifth grade students at SDN 0708 Aliaga II elementry school. The results and conclusions of the study were based on the feasibility aspect with an average percentage og mrdia experts 89,8%,material experts 92,5%,and linguists 74,8%. The practical aspect with an average percentage of teacher response questionnaires is 92,3% and stage I student response questionnaires with a total of 10 students getting a percentage score of 85% and stage II with a total of 30 students getting a percentage score of 92,75%. Learning media is said to be pratical and can be used to facilitate students in the learning process.
