Abstract

Character education is an interaction between the factors involved in it by applying several character values ​​in accordance with the learning. One of them can be through learning mathematics. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education carried out by teachers. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, the location of the research was conducted at SDN Sukun 2 Malang, the data procedures obtained through interview techniques, observation, documentation. To get maximum results, the researcher uses data processing, data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal. At the next stage, the researcher uses triangulation of sources and techniques in order to get more valid data and then the last stage is the report stage. Based on the results of the study, 68% of the implementation of character education in learning mathematics at SDN Sukun 2 Malang has been implemented. The implementation of character education has been carried out by the principal and class teachers in the learning process in the classroom, the teacher has also entered character values ​​for students, one of which is the lesson plan learning tool (RPP).
