Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the development of an authentic assessment instrument on the reading literacy aspect. The background of this writing is the level of student reading ability which is still low, and the reading assessment carried out by teacher to students has not been focused. The study uses R&D (Research & Development) with ADDIE (Analysis, Desaing, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study population was the fifth grade students of SDN 03 Plaosan Malang Regency, related to the covid-19 pandemic conditions, the researcher took a sample of several students to find out their rensponse. With the authentic assessment instrument on the aspect of reading literacy, it his hoped that students can develop a good level of reading competence.
