Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the application of the listening team learning model in improving applicative thinking in the 5th grade science subjects at MIT Ar-Roihan Lawang. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of the study were Bukhoro 5th grade students at MIT Ar-Roihan Lawang with a total of 21 female students. The research instruments used were observation, interviews, documentation and tests.Analysis of the data used is qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data with data collection steps, data reduction, data presentation and affirmation of conclusions while quantitative data by looking for class averages, individual learning completeness and classical learning completeness.
The percentage of success related to the appropriateness of the steps in applying the listening team learning model in cycle 1 was 84.4% and in cycle 2 it increased to 92.2%. The listening team model can improve students' applicative thinking in science learning with the results of the pre-cycle stage of 9.52%. Increased to 85.7% in cycle 1 and to 95.2% in cycle 2. Thus the application of the listening team learning model can improve the applicative thinking of 5th grade students at MIT Ar-Roihan Lawang in each cycle. It is hoped that by applying this listening team learning model students will more easily understand the material and apply the concepts learned in daily life.Through the process of conducting direct experiments and discussions will be able to improve the ability to apply students
