Program Adiwiyata Dalam Penerapkan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan Di Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
The underlying factor of this research is human behaviour that doesn’t care about the environmental conditions that the result in environmental damage, the character education is deemed necessary. This research aims to see how the application of the Adiwiyata program, the application of environmental care characters and obstacles in the application of environmental care characters. This research is atype of qualitative research that produces descriptive data with case studies at Elementary School and the data collection technicques used are triangulation through observation, interviews and documentations. Based on the result of the research are showed that the application of the Adiwiyata program was quite in accordance with the guidelines made by the government, although there are some points not visible implementation. While for the application of environmental care character is carried out through activities to clean the environment, save energy and be aware of waste, the last is the obstacles in the application of environmental care characters that come from students and their environment at school and at home. With this research a sense of care for the environment becomes greater
