Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze and describe the implementation of the learning process of speaking skills by using a paired storytelling learning model for fifth grade students of Talun 03 SDN, (2) analyzing and describing the students' speaking skills using the paired storytelling learning models for Talun 03 SDN grade V students. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at Talun 03 SDN. Data collection techniques were using interviews, observation, and documentation. Checking the validity of the data used by observers and triangulation persistence steps. Based on the speaking skills, the results of the calculation of speaking skills of the fifth grade students in SDN Year 03 shows the number 287 with a percentage of 71%. This value is in the fourth category which shows that the value of vulnerable 60% - 80% is in the "good" category
